Get Involved with Fairtrade Redbridge

What you can do…

As a resident…

  • Look for products with the Fairtrade Mark- The only guarantee that products are fairly traded
  • Choose Fairtrade at work - for your meetings or tea clubs
  • Lobby your local supermarket or shops. If you don't see Fairtrade products on the shelf, ask!
  • If you want to do more, there are ways you can help. Please read below

As a retailer…

  • Ask your supplier if it stocks Fairtrade products- chances are it does!
  • A wide selection of stockists selling products is available for wholesale retailers by clicking here

As a faith group…

  • Raise awareness of Fairtrade amongst your congregation
  • Use Fairtrade refreshments during committee meetings
  • Hold a Fairtrade stall after weekly services

As a school/youth group…

  • Create a Fairtrade staff room with Fairtrade refreshments for staff
  • Introduce fairtrade choices in your Tuck shop/Canteen. Young Co-operatives can also help students run their own fairtrade food business in schools
  • Use Fairtrade sports balls during P.E and inter-school matches

As a Community organisation…

If you want to do more...

If you already buy or use Fairtrade on a regular basis and you would like to get more actively involved and meet with other like minded people, then Fairtrade Redbridge group would like to hear from you!

You can contribute your time by:

  • coming along to our meetings;
  • volunteering at events;
  • using your writing skills to write newspaper articles;
  • helping to keep the website up to date; or
  • encouraging others to use Fairtrade at work, schools, community organisations and businesses.
