Fairtrade Champions

If you would enjoy the challenge of talking to shop managers, local businesses, community organisations and faith organisations about Fairtrade, and can use your persuasive skills to encourage those not yet supporting Fairtrade, then this is for you! No experience needed, just oodles of confidence and enthusiasm!

Commitment: One or two hours a week- weekdays/evenings or weekends. Flexible.

Prepare and submit press releases, articles and features for newsletters and magazines to coincide with local events and campaigns. Also helping to prepare a media strategy for the Fairtrade Redbridge group to maximise exposure. Working on own initiative with guidance from Fairtrade Redbridge group. Some experience desirable. Would suit media/journalist student or retired professional.

Commitment: An article a month on average. Flexible working times.

You will provide shops/cafes already listed in the Fairtrade Stockists' Directory with Fairtrade window stickers and posters to proudly display the fact they sell Fairtrade.

Commitment: One or two hours a week- weekdays/evenings or weekends. Flexible.
